ROSETTA highlights the final conference of the SISTERS project, titled “Systemic Innovations for Food Waste Reduction.” Organised by AITIIP in cooperation with Innovarum, SAFE – Safe Food Advocacy Europe and EROSKI, the conference marks the culmination of the EU-funded project’s work on reducing food loss and waste (FLW) across the European food value chain.

This in-person event will convene researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore systemic solutions addressing FLW from primary production to consumer behaviour. The programme will present key project outcomes, including smart digital platforms for producers, sustainable packaging solutions, and QR-based labelling tools, alongside high-level discussions and networking opportunities.

For ROSETTA and related initiatives, the conference provides an important space for exchange on innovation-driven approaches to food waste reduction and for strengthening synergies across EU projects working towards more sustainable food systems.
